Warm tones on warm tones! The star of this room is without a doubt the staircase. The banister is so unique but it’s not living up to its full potential. Playing off the mid-century vibe of the stairs and the angled ceiling, a mid century style influence would suit this room so well!

Cooling down the room with an all over coat of this beautiful greyish-green sage paint colour and getting rid of the dark stained trim with a darker complimentary colour painting all of the darker stained wood trim leaving the staircase wood exposed to highlight it as the star of the show! The addition of the custom built ins was just the cherry on top! Further adhering to mid century influences with warm linen drapes and linen sconces, and a stunning camel colour couch. This living room went from wasted potential to magazine cover!
